Storyhouse 2011

In  2011,  during  the  Clonmel  Junction  Festival,  myself  and  fellow  artist  Nina  Tanis  got  to  facilitate  a  creative café  called  ‘  StoryHouse’.  Over  10  days  we  offered  workshops,  performances  and  story-circles,  with  special slots  for  little  ones,  for  elders,  for  children,and  all  the  while  training  a  group  of  6  teenagers  to  become storytellers  and  storytelling  facilitators.  In  my  career  to  date,  this experience  has  been  one  of  the  most satisfying.  It  drew  on  all  my  skills  and  allowed  me  to  perform  but  also  to  pass  on  my  art  form.
